Thursday: go home to Oshkosh, WI. Meet up with Alex and her friends and then hopefully some of LHS '05.
Friday (Christmas Eve): sleep in as long as possible, Alex and I will help Judes with the last of the decorations and make TONS of food including deviled eggs and the best red velvet cupcakes everrrr. AND probably take a nap on my favorite couch in the whole world. Then we make the treck to Neenah, WI to be with my mom's side of the family. We have a Christmas exchange with 40 of us and eat a ton of food. In the true Christmas Eve spirit, we'll come home and make one last Christmas drink and curl up on the couch to watch Step Mom or Elf. Step Mom if we are looking for a feel good ending, or Elf if we can get Judes to sit down and watch a really dumb movie.
Saturday (Christmas Day): now we sleep in as long as possible, before I would wait outside of Alex's room for her to finally wake up and then we sit on top of the stairs while Judith takes a picture. gag. Now we make a huge breakfast spread and wait to open presents until everyone is ready. We play Christmas music on repeat and finally sit down in the living room and open the loot. After we get ready for 45 people to come and have Judes yell at us to help more. Everyone comes over and we have the best FOOD EVERRRR. Christmas Ham, num num num. Then we go out and drink a ton and I'm always hungover on the 26th. Merry Christmas, baby.
