Long hair.

I've decided that i hate short hair.  this is the 2nd time that i've chopped my hair off, the first time being sophomore year when i cut off 14 inches (stupid) and had boy hair for about a year and then in june when i cut 7 inches off.  why do i put myself through this!?!?! 

i can't stand long hair because of the strands of hair that i find everywhere, they are so long and gross that it ends up making me want to vomit and then i decide that hey, if i had shorter hair then this wouldn't bother me.  well now all i can think about is having my long hair back (can't decide if i want it dark brown or light? but that is a different story). wake me up in a year and a half when my hair is down past my shoulders.  i'm crying.

11/7:  First trip to Lambeau in 2010.  Go PACK Go!
11/23-11/29:  Florida vacation to visit my parents on the boat!
12/9-12: Trip to Boston.  Thursday is the office holiday party, Friday-Sunday is tourist time in Boston!
12/22-12/26:  Oshkosh, Wisco for Christmas.
1/17-1/21:  Florida vaction to visit my parents...again!

2008 = Waking up on the way to Indiana not knowing where I was...going to the ND vs Purdue, Ashton's Birthday mess with Cathy's ridiculous night ending with Kim and I yelling profanities down Water Street.
2009= Spent at Cork n Kerry's drinking too many Cherry Bombs. Falling asleep on the floor next to Becca, only to wake up with a large pitbull sharing a pillow with me. 
2010 = Watching the Packers run all over the Bears at Will's Northwoods Inn, alone.

Got my first wedding invite today.  Yep, address to Kaitlynn Koeppler.  Not "The Koeppler Family" for once!  However, on the RSVP there was definitely a +1.  That's super.  Thank you +1 for making me feel like a big pile of crap.  I pretty much wanted there to be a section that I could check that said "ridin' solo" but there wasn't.  No joke that I could have made on that f'ing invite.  Jokes on me. 

Whatever, I'm gonna look smokin and go home alone....to my parents house.  Somebody give me a gun.

Fall

Today is the first day of fall and i am actually very excited.  this summer was pretty fun but i'm ready for the leaves to turn and for apple cider and pumpkin spice smells to be the norm.  i loooove fall.  i'm obsessed with wearing jackets.  from northface to pea coats to wool trenchcoats all the way to long down jackets.  ohhh i loooove them.  i have about 6 jackets that i will use in rotation once it gets cold enough and i will wear them with pride until next may! 

i'm also pretty excited about the little farmer opening back up - its a pumpkin patch and corn maze in fond du lac wisco and they have the best carmel apples EVERRRR.  http://www.mytlf.com/  and have apple and pumpkin pie to dieeee for.  you can go apple picking, go on a hay rides and pick a pumpkin to take home!  how exciting! i cannot wait to gooooo.

i also love the fall a ton because of football.  i looooove wearing a hoodie and jeans and curling up on the couch to watch my boys throw the ball around.  i love sweatshirts and jeans and tennis shoes.  i want to wear that right now.  yay fall.  yayyyyy.

New Apartment

so i recently moved into a new apartment in chicago.  it was time to leave wrigleyville, i had had it with cub games and constant going out.  granted it was summer and it was nice to stop on the way home from work and grab a drink but i can't keep acting like a drunk fool so it was time to class it up by moving to lincoln park.  first off all, instead of being a 12-15 minute walk from the train, i am now only 5-7 minutes!  wahoooo and i cut down 15 minutes of being on the train = almost a half an hour off of my commute.  so much happier!

i'm so happy to have upgraded apartments, dont get me wrong, i loved my little coach house but now we have a great 3 bedroom flat right on lincoln ave and have SO much more space.  did i mention that i'm also living with becca and cathy?!?!  so excited to be in a 3 bedroom and not just a 2!  no offense cathy, but 2 is better than 1 and 3 > 2.

i feel like things are finally looking up :D
